Upload the logo

Drag it onto the window or click Drop your logo here. PNG, SVG, JPG and WebP all work. Ideally use a PNG with a transparent background or an SVG.

Only have a JPG on a white background? Tick Remove white background and raise the tolerance until the fringe disappears.
Logo color: on air, bugs are usually white and semi-transparent. You can also keep the original colors, or make it black or any color you like.

Optional textYou can add text beside or below the logo, such as “LIVE” or “REPLAY”, with or without a colored box. You can also make a text-only bug, with no logo.

Place it inside the safe area

Some screens and TVs crop the edges of the picture. To avoid losing the logo, it goes inside the safe area:

Margin	When to use it
Title safe (5%)	The standard for text and logos. Use it if in doubt.
Action safe (3.5%)	A little closer to the edge. For streaming or screens that don't crop.
Manual	The exact margin your broadcaster or client asks for.

Then adjust the size (as a % of screen height; 7–10% is typical) and the opacity (70–85% is visible without being distracting).

Black-and-white key: tick it if your gear needs the fill and the key (matte) as separate files.

Gear	How
ATEM	Drag the PNG into the Media Pool in ATEM Software Control and put it on a Downstream Key with the Media Player as the source. The resolution must match the switcher's.
vMix	Add Input → Image, and turn it on as an Overlay.
OBS	Sources → + → Image, above the other layers in the scene.
